Equipped to handle the largest loads, the Doosan® DL580-5 wheel loader allows operators to efficiently fill a 24-ton capacity, over-the-road truck in just two passes. The increase in load capacity reduces cycle times speeding up productivity and makes this a perfect machine for heavy-duty jobs.
The DL580-5 also has an enhanced front work group that features a reinforced Z-bar, larger-profile arm and lift cylinder geometry that improves lifting capacity. This model is built for mining and aggregate work, as well as heavy-duty construction job-sites.
With the increased power of the DL580-5 wheel loader comes enhanced productivity. Three aggregate buckets (8.0, 9.0 and 10.3 cu. yd.) are available for the DL580-5 to boost the loader’s capacity, depending on material density. These aggregate buckets along with other general purpose buckets give operators the capability to move material efficiently.
Doosan wheel loader cabs make your work easier and more comfortable. With best-in-class visibility, you'll see your work better. You'll remain comfortable with automatic air conditioning, an improved steering column, and ergonomically placed joystick controls. Electric steering comes standard on the new DL580-5 and can be adjusted with a left-hand control. The air suspension seat features a right-hand control stand that’s integrated into the seat assembly for increased controllability. The machine is outfitted with lower-profile tires on a wider, larger diameter rim for enhanced traction.
Additional features include heated mirrors with better positioning, sun visor and rearview camera.
Maintenance is quick and easy on the DL580-5 wheel loader. It features easy-reach oil sampling and pressure test ports, and engine and coolant drains. DoosanCONNECT® telematics helps you monitor your Doosan equipment and manage maintenance to reduce operating costs. Free cellular service is provided for the life of the Doosan machine. Satellite coverage is included for 36 months at no cost.
To comply with Tier 4 emissions standards, the DL580-5 incorporates a high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel delivery system and cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR). Combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalyst reduction (SCR), this reduces emissions from a typical non-road diesel engine by up to two-thirds.
