DoosanCONNECT® empowers you to save money and extend uptime. But with all that data at your fingertips, where do you begin? Here’s how to put your telematics data to work for you.

When you get a new Doosan® machine, you also get access to DoosanCONNECT®[1] — a telematics tool that empowers you to save money and extend uptime.

A stream of real-time data, delivered to your computer or smartphone, lets you make smarter decisions to protect and maximize your machine. Fleet status, machine location, error codes, fuel usage, and more — it’s all available instantly to you and your fleet managers.

But with all that data at your fingertips, where do you begin? Here are 5 smart ways to put your telematics data to work for you.

1. Better Allocate Resources

How active is that excavator? See exactly how often your machines get work via usage data. This lets you know where you’re underutilizing assets (or where you may need another machine). Smart expansion of your fleet can save on rental costs, too.

2. Make Smarter Bids

Fuel usage and machine hours data let you calculate more accurate labor and operating costs, which in turn allow for more accurate bids and fine-tuned estimates for upcoming projects.

3. Track That Fuel

Scan idle time data to spot which of your machines are working under (or over) capacity. Then plan to trim that idle time, ensuring machines shut down instead of burning costly diesel fuel. Cutting idle times won’t just save on fuel — it can also save on maintenance.

4. Stay on Top of Maintenance

Fault codes, error codes, warning codes — they all come through the app. Historical data on your machine’s maintenance lets you set alerts ahead of your next appointment, too. Need a new oil filter? Yep, an alert can tell you that.

5. Reduce That Downtime

Sharing telematics data with your dealership can let service techs diagnose machine problems before they even arrive on site. When technicians do arrive, they’ll be ready and more empowered to get your machine back up and running sooner.
