Each of these attachments is designed with different worksites and scenarios in mind. So you can do your job, whatever it may be. In general, our buckets are a great tool for any of your digging, lifting or loading needs. However, all of them have features that make them optimal for different types of work. The couplers allow you to use additional attachments with ease. So in some cases, it might make sense to use couplers in tandem with other attachments for maximum efficiency.
When deciding what attachment to purchase, you have some factors to consider. If you tend to use your excavator for multiple types of jobs, a coupler of some kind would probably be a good investment for you, since they allow you to trade out attachments being used for different tasks with less downtime.
If you are looking to invest in a bucket, keep in mind the kind of material you are going to be working with. For example, if you are going to be handling large, jagged rock, a severe duty bucket that is built with high quality abrasion-resistant material will last longer and handle the rock-matter well.
Another thing to consider is the environment you will be working in. If you need to dredge up some soil from a swamp, skip the severe duty bucket and go for the ditch cleaning bucket that features side drainage holes.
